U.S. Marine Corps Chief Warrant Officer 2 Matthew A. Wright, motor transportation maintenance officer with Marine Wing Support Squadron 372 installs a Humvee door handle as part of a 3D printer integration exercise during Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) course 1-17 at site 50 training area, Wellton, Ariz., Oct. 18, 2016. Wright used additive manufacturing (AM) equipment to make objects from 3d model data throughout the WTI course. WTI is a seven week training event hosted by Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1) cadre which emphasizes operational integration of the six functions of Marine Corps aviation in support of a Marine Air Ground Task Force.
