Children gather to watch Marines and sailors offload over 1,000 pounds of rice from a CH-53 Super Stallion helicopter in Plaisance-du-Sud, a commune in the Anse-à-Veau Arrondissement in the Nippes Department of Haiti Oct. 18, 2016. Haiti was slammed by Hurricane Matthew, a category 4 storm that struck the Caribbean earlier in October. The 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, under Joint Task Force Matthew, assisted government and non-government organizations in providing humanitarian aid to Haiti in the storm's wake.
