FORT HOOD, Texas – Cpt. Richard Blair, Veterinarian, 43rd Veterinarian Services Medical Detachment, crosses the finish line of the 12-mile ruck march event earning the Expert Field Medical Badge, September 30. This event hosted by III Corps, tested nearly every skill that a medic will ever have to go through in his or her career and consisted of a written test, multiple practical exercise lanes, day and night land navigation and culminated in a 12-mile ruck march.
