Two M1097 Humvees and Two M119 Howitzers, assigned to 173rd Airborne Brigade, are loaded at Aviano Air Base, Italy, Oct. 18, 2016 onto a C17 Globemaster III Aircraft from Papa Air Base, Hungary, for heavy drop into the Bunker drop zone, Grafenwoehr, Germany as a part of Peacemaster Unity training. Peacemaster Unity is Joint multinational readiness exercise including participation from 7 nations conducting missions across 3 countries, delivering over 2000 troops and 20 heavy drops. The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army Contingency Response Force in Europe, capable of projecting ready forces anywhere in the U.S. European, Africa or Central Commands' areas of responsibility within 18 hours.
