The Moon Viewing Ceremony, or Tsukimi, is an Okinawan Tradition to celebrate the coming of fall. The party lanterns light the way to a more secluded moon viewing area at the top of Mt. Ishikawa, Okinawa, Japan, October 15, 2016. Although the moon may not always be full on the moon light parties, it is said that the moon is the brightest and the most beautiful on this night.
