Oregon Army National Guard 1st Sgt. Travis Powell and Sgt. Brian Taylor, prepare and test a rescue hoist in the UH-60 Blackhawk before lifting off to assist Multnomah County Sheriff's Department during a search and rescue mission to find a lost boy in Portland, Ore., June 12. Powell, a flight medic, and Taylor, a crew chief, are part of Charlie 7-158 Aviation, based in Salem, Ore. The unit?s MEDEVAC missions are utilized throughout the state to assist county incident commanders, conducting more than 100 annual rescue missions throughout Oregon.
