The Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon performs for the community of San Francisco at Marina Green Park during San Francisco Fleet Week Oct. 9, 2016. The Silent Drill Platoon performs a series of orchestrated and sophisticated close-order drill movements without the use of audio queues or commands. San Francisco Fleet Week is an event where thousands of Marines and Sailors come to showcase the capabilities of the Navy-Marine Corps team to local residents, and an opportunity for service members to meet and thank the community for its support.
