Family members of Army Sgt. Manderro D. Crump accept a Mississippi College Choctaw team jersey stitched with his name during the school’s “Mississippi’s Fallen Heroes Day” Oct. 8, 2016, at Robinson-Hale Stadium in Clinton, Miss. Sgt. Crump, of Clinton, Miss., died in 2002. The presentation was made at halftime of a football game between the Choctaws and West Florida. Families of Mississippi’s fallen heroes were presented with team jerseys with their family member’s name by the athletic department and Brig. Gen. Gregory L.
