EAST CHINA SEA (Oct. 9, 2016) Petty Officer 1st Class (SW/AW) Shirlenta Board, from Flint, Michigan, logs Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV) award packages in the commanding officer’s administration office aboard the Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The INSURV packages are being routed to Rear Adm. Charles Williams, commander, Battle Force 7th Fleet, to create flag letters of commendation for Sailors’ contributions during the inspection. Ronald Reagan, the Carrier Strike Group Five (CSG 5) flagship, is on patrol supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
