Mines and grenades were among the hundreds of weapons unearthed by Marines from B Company, 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, Regimental Combat Team 5. Recon Marines spent several days in Mushin, Iraq, supporting 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment in Operation Rubicon. They battled insurgents in running gun battles and dug up hundreds of buried insurgent weapons.
