U.S. Naval Special Warfare and Trinidad and Tobago special navy units prepare to board a Trinidadian and Tobagonian coast guard vessel Sept. 27, 2016 during a culmination exercise in the Gulf of Paria, Trinidad and Tobago. The coast guard vessel served as a platform for Special Operations Forces from both countries to practice maritime operations. Special Operations Command South, in coordination with the U.S. Embassy in Trinidad and Tobago and host nation forces, routinely collaborate to provide opportunities for USSOF to train and test their interoperability and abilities to build effective teams and form long-lasting partnerships with partner nation forces.
