    NATO Special Operations Component Command-Afghanistan

    Soldiers and Airmen assigned to Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force Afghanistan participated in a fitness competition March 2010. Day 1 consisted of 4 events to include pushing a tactical vehicle and carrying sand bags with their entire 35 lb kits. Then the service members did as many dips, pushups, pull-ups and bench presses they could in a minute. Day two concentrated on shooting fundamentals after a two mile run. There were five teams that competed in all areas of the competition. The competition increased the moral of the deployed service members and also emphasized the importance of fitness.
