160923-N-RP435-004 (Sept. 23, 2016) SAN DIEGO -- Cmdr. Brady Brown, assistant program manager for Meteorology and Oceanography at Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I), assists in setting up a statapult for testing during a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) training class. The PEO C4I Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) team provides LSS training to PEO program office personnel and government employees matrixed in from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) competencies such as SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific. LSS combines the key principles of reducing and eliminating waste with reducing variation and increasing quality in the acquisition process. The PEO C4I CPI team manages business transformation practices that lead to maximizing efficiency and product and service quality while minimizing costs. (U.S. Navy photo by Krishna M.
