U.S. Marine Corps 2nd Lt. J.T. Poggid attending infantry officers course (IOC) communicates with the pilot during exercise Talon Reach near Yuma, Ariz., Sept. 23, 2016. This evolution provided IOC students exposure to Marine Air Ground Task Force mission planning and execution through the conduct of a long-range, non-combatant, evacuation exercise that extended to both the Combat Center at 29 Palms, Calf. and Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz.
