With locals watching the progress, Eric Motz, Navy chief hospital corpsman, the senior department medical representative for Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 2, and Lance Cpl. Brandon Gross, a pointman for 3rd Platoon, Alpha Company, place a "now open" sign above the door of the new Medical Clinic in Now Zad, June 7. The clinic has been in the works for the past two weeks and will allow more patients to be seen as the town continues to grow.
