U.S. Army CPT. Jonathan Duncan presents a recovered WWII 50 caliber machine gun to Mr. Bjorn Beeren, deputy section manager, service and order, for the town of Bruggen, Germany, July 27, 2016. Mr. Beeren’s cooperation, along with the assistance of other local officials, was instrumental in the success of this recovery mission. Duncan is the leader of a recovery team assigned to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency, conducting a fifty three day operation to recover the remains of a pilot missing from the later days of World War II.
