An MH-65 Dolphin Helicopter crew, from Coast Guard Air Station North Bend, Ore., and members of the Curry County Search and Rescue Team prepare an injured female hiker to be medevaced about 7 miles south of Agness, Sept. 18, 2016.
An attempt made by the Coast Guard aircrew the night before failed due to the difficult terrain but a Curry County SAR team member that was familiar with the area was able to reach the hiker, treat her non-life-threatening injuries and remaining with her over night.
