His Eminence Archbishop Demetrius, Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, offers prayer and a blessing over the America’s Response Monument during the rededication ceremony in New York. In his remarks, his Eminence said, “this statue sits on Holy ground.” The America’s Response Monument is located at the former site of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, which was destroyed when the south tower of the World Trade Center fell fifteen years ago.
