Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Farren Lohndorf is a gunner's mate from Norfolk, Virginia, who is serving with about 300 other sailors on the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Barry that is deployed in Yokosuka, Japan. Lohndorf posed for a photo aboard the USS Barry, Sept. 7, 2016. Service has great meaning to Lohndorf, she explained.
