U.S. Army Sgt. First Class Heathe Poston, a medic with Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), inserts an intravenous drip into U.S. Army Pfc. Tatiana Rodriguezsoto, DPAA. Medics assigned to recovery teams for DPAA ensure that all members of the team receive medical treatment during recovery operations. This team was in Le Mesnil-Tove, France, in search of tank crewmen who were killed in action during World War II, Aug. 23, 2016. DPAA deploys teams from its operation office based at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii to provide the fullest possible accounting of missing personnel to their families and the nation.
