On the 15th anniversary of the terrorist attack on the United States on Sept. 11, 2001, the San Diego Padres honored service members and first responders during San Diego Fleet Week 2016. Fleet week offers the public an opportunity to meet Sailors, Marines, and members of the Coast Guard and gain a better understanding of how the sea services support the national defense of the United States and freedom of the seas.
