New Albany, Ind. resident, 1st Lt. Chris Maze, and Sgt. 1st Class James Stowe, from Louisville, Ky., fasten their unit's Yellow Banner to the line at Army Support Activity-Dix's Infantry Park, May 25. Their unit, 678th Human Resource Company, 3rd Platoon, is an Army Reserve organization from Louisville, Ky. that will deploy to Iraq to conduct military post office operations. The Yellow Banner is given to units who mobilize through ASA-Dix as a symbolic gesture that they are in the thoughts and well-wishes of the ASA-Dix community. The banner is hung in Infantry Park while the unit is deployed and given back to the organization upon its return from combat.
