    I Marine Expeditionary Force

    U.S. Marines from the Camp Pendleton, Calif. - based 2nd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, board a a CH-46E Sea Knight from the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif. - based HMM-163 on the flight deck of the USS Bonhomme Richard to participate in a supporting arms exercise on San Clemente Island during training exercise Dawn Blitz 2010, May 24. The exercise is an opportunity for Marines and Sailors attached to the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force and Commander, 3rd Fleet to better prepare for large-scale amphibious assaults.
