Ugandan People's Defense Force soldiers carry books past the entrance of the Nkumba Quran Primary school in Nkumba, Uganda, May 21. The books were donated to five schools during a humanitarian assistance mission, part of the capstone exercise concluding two weeks of focused Civil Affairs training at the Kasenyi Training Facility in Entebbe, Uganda. The two-week civil affairs focus is part of a 16-week training program created by Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. The program is designed to develop Ugandan soldiers in full spectrum operations with a concentration on counter-terrorism and peace support operations.
