Ross Farrow (left), assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 6, pins the Purple Heart Medal onto the chest of Chief Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician (Retired) Patrick Flanigan during a ceremony in front of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group (EODGRU) 2 headquarters on Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek. Flanagin, formerly assigned to EODMU 2, was nominated for the medal after being injured during operations in Ar Ramadi, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
