Marines from Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans prepare to present the colors at the kickoff ceremony of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve at the National World War II Museum in New Orleans, Aug. 26, 2016. The celebration is the start of a campaign that will run a series of events across the Nation to recognize 100 years of dedicated service. Over the years, the Marine Corps Reserve has continued to be a key component to the Marine Corps’ role as the Nation’s crisis response force and expeditionary force in readiness.
