NEW YORK, N.Y.- New York Army National Guard Soldier Sgt. Javier Mercado, assigned to Joint Task Force Empire Shield, being interviewed by Staff Sgt. Jose Ibarra, non-commissioned officer in charge of Soldiers broadcasting on Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Grand Central Terminal as part of the Army- produced television show “City Soldier”, the episode was filmed in New York City August 16-18, and will explore what it's like to be a New York Army National Guard Soldier serving in New York City-- helping safeguard the city transportation hubs.
