Soldiers from the 194th Engineer Brigade, Tennessee Army National Guard participate in Combat Life Saving Course, referred to in the U.S. Army as “CLS,” during the week of August 15, 2016 at Novo Selo Training Area, Bulgaria during Operation Resolute Castle. Soldiers in the course received first-hand experience transporting casualties to a safe location. The students used different methods of tactical casualty movement with a training dummy, such as the fireman carry, Hawes carry, drags, and two-person supporting carry.
