Paratroopers assigned to the 1st Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, U.S. Army Alaska, participate in a joint forcible entry exercise at Malemute Drop Zone on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Aug. 23, 2016, as part of Exercise Spartan Agoge. Spartan Agoge is a brigade-level field training exercise that began Aug. 15, and focuses on an array of combat-related tasks from squad live-fire exercises to helicopter air insertion and airborne assault training.
