ABOARD USS BONHOMME RICHARD (LHD-6), At Sea (Aug. 24, 2016) – An MV-22B Osprey with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, approaches the flight deck of the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD-6), during normal flight operations at sea, Aug. 24, 2016. The 31st MEU is the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed Marine Air-Ground Task Force, and is task-organized to address a wide variety of military operations in the Asia-Pacific region – from force projection and maritime security to humanitarian assistance and disaster relief in cooperation with host countries and partner militaries.
