Maj. Gen. Simeon Trombitas, commanding, general, JTF-Haiti, talks with a Seabee with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 7 at LSA Hope, May 17. NMCB-7 is redeploying to Gulfport, Miss. after serving four months in support of Operation Unified Response. During their deployment, the Seabees assisted with debris removal, pier repairs, mitigation efforts inside at-risk internally displaced persons camps, and constructing new IDP camps outside Port-au-Prince.
