Staff Sgt. Stefan Muldez (left) and 1st Sgt. Adam Heffelfinger race toward the last 10 miles in the "Miles to Freedom" program at Camp Liberty Iron Gym, May 9. Both Soldiers, assigned to the 1st Armored Division Band, wanted to finish at the same time after helping each other succeed during the friendly competition. The "Miles to Freedom" program tracks service members and civilians who participate in bicycling, running and the elliptical machine, with the final goal being 1,000 miles.
