U.S. Marines Cpl. Beau Parra and Staff Sgt. Matthew Benack, both All-Marine Warrior Games Team archers, embrace after facing one another in the finals of the compound bow division during the Warrior Games archery competition held at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., May 12. Parra defeated Benack by one point to claim the gold medal. "I'm just happy that going into it we knew Marines would have both gold and silver," said Benack. The inaugural Warrior Games feature more than 200 wounded, injured and ill service members from each military branch an opportunity to compete against one another in a variety of Olympic-style events. The games are being held at the U.S. Olympic Training Center and U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, May 10-14.
