Sgt. Ralph D. Gaskin II, a vocalist for the 3rd Infantry Division Band, and a Fort Wayne, Ind., native, wears a POW/MIA bracelet for his battle buddy, Sgt. Mason Lee Lewis, who passed, Nov. 16, 2007, during Gaskins last deployment in Iraq as a medic with the security platoon, "Top Flite," Company C, 26 Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Bde., 3rd ID. "I wear it in memorial to him," said Gaskin, who is currently stationed at Contingency Operating Base Speicher, Iraq. "He was such a great guy, extremely dedicated. He was a hell of Soldier - hell of a friend. He would do anything for you."
