(Aug. 12, 2016) – Wilma Melville, founder of the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation, recognizes Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 25 for their contributions to the facility during a tour event. Seabees from NMCB 25, based out of Port Hueneme, Calif., are constructing various training facilities at the center to simulate realistic disaster scenarios for search dogs under the Department of Defense Innovative Readiness Training Program.
