Cpl. Robert Blakeslee, an electric equipment repair specialist with 2nd Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, coordinates with the pilot of a CH-53E Super Stallion July 28, 2016 during a troop lift exercise at Marine Corps Air Station New River. The CH-53E Super Stallion is the largest helicopter in the United States military, and able to carry a 26,000-pound Light Armored Vehicle, 16 tons of cargo, or enough combat-loaded Marines to lead an assault or humanitarian operation. The capabilities provided by the CH-53E strengthen the expeditionary capabilities of Marines Corps units and make this aircraft one of the most useful in the Marine Corps. The CH-53E and pilot are assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 461, Marine Aircraft Group 29, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing. ANGLICO is part of the II Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group.
