U.S. Army Capt. Jason Cox, a civil affairs officer, trains Romanian Multinational Division-South East (MND-SE) Lt. Col. George Feleaga, a civilian-military cooperation officer, on procedures concerning the freedom of movement and maneuverability for land forces and the safety of the civilian population during procedures during the Exercise Saber Guardian 2016 command post exercise at the Romanian Land Forces Combat Training Center, Cincu, Romania July 30, 2016. The command post exercise simulation is a Joint Combined Exchange Training event that further augments our communications and interoperability. The commanders and staffs are trained in the development of combined planning, standing operating procedures and staff battle drills in a force-on-force environment to demonstrate continued commitment to the collective security of NATO and dedication to enduring peace and stability in the region.
