U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Lawrence Washington, 35th Aircraft Maintenance squadron spends time with boys from the Shammah Children’s Home, during Cope Taufan 16 in Butterworth, Pulau Pinang, July 23, 2016. As part of a community relations event USAF and RMAF visited two local orphanages, donated money and provided furniture to children in need. CT 16 is a PACAF-led exercise that reinforces U.S. Pacific Command Theater Security Cooperation goals for the Southeast Asian region and demonstrates U.S. capability to project forces strategically in a combined, joint environment.
