Soldiers from the Tennessee Army National Guard's 1-230th Assault Helicopter Battalion that is now part of Joint Base McGhee-Tyson in Knoxville, Tenn., were awarded the Sikorsky Rescue Award July 10, for participating in three different lifesaving missions in Eastern Tennessee earlier this year. The awards were presented by Tom Nicolette, a representative of Sikorsky Aircraft, and by Maj. Gen. Max Haston, Adjutant General for the Tennessee National Guard.
