AT SEA – CH-53E Super Stallion helicopters await take-off from the USS Makin Island (LHD 8) during flight deck landing qualifications as part of Amphibious Squadron – Marine Expeditionary Unit Integration (PMINT) July 12, 2016. PMINT teams up the Marines of the 11th MEU and Sailors of Amphibious Squadron 5 operationally for the first time during the pre-deployment training cycles in preparation for their upcoming Western Pacific 16-2 deployment.
