160711-N-N0101-002 SAN DIEGO (JULY 11, 2016) Racks containing Naval Integrated Tactical-Cloud Reference for Operational Superiority (NITROS) capabilities reside on the USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) during Trident Warrior. Sailors aboard the ship took part in a technology demonstration of the Naval Integrated Tactical-Cloud Reference for Operational Superiority (NITROS) capability within various systems, including the Distributed Common Ground System-Navy Increment 2 (DCGS-N Inc 2) and the Maritime Tactical Command and Control (MTC2) system. NITROS is a technology demonstration led by the Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence (PEO C4I) and is one of the largest experiments undertaken in a Trident Warrior event.
