Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Deonce Cushinberry from Union, Iowa and infantry Marine with 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment is one of the many service members participating in the Rim of the Pacific Exercise in southern California and Hawaii June 30 – August 4, 2016. RIMPAC is the world’s largest military exercise consisting of military personnel from more than 26 nations. Marines will also be testing new technology and equipment like drones and robots with Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory as part of the Corps’ effort to grow and innovate for the future.
