A man wearing a Medal of Honor around his neck sits at a table during what appears to be a signing or meet-and-greet event. He is dressed in a black sweatshirt with a military patch on the sleeve and holds a pen, suggesting he is signing autographs or documents. Behind him is a banner reading 'MEDAL [OF HONOR] [FOR] LIVE[S]' with military portrait photographs displayed.

Alfred Rascon, Congressional Medal of Honor recipient, signs autographs for service members at Camp As Sayliyah, Qatar, April 18, 2010. Rascon, 64, earned his Medal of Honor as an Army specialist assigned to a reconnaissance platoon in Vietnam, March 1966. He courageously assisted a sister battalion that fell under intense enemy fire. Several squad leaders had been wounded by a steady stream of bullets and grenades. Rascon was told to seek shelter until cover fire could be provided – he didn't listen. He saw a wounded machine gunner lying helpless on an open enemy trail.
