On day three of the 2016 Army National Guard Best Warrior Competition held at Joint Base Cape Cod, the winner of Region III, Florida Army National Guardsman, Staff Sgt. Travis Ugarte sustained a foot injury during the 15-mile ruck march on June 23. He went on to complete the event that took the Soldiers over the historic North Bridge in Lexington, Mass.
