Cpl. Joshua Gant is given a demonstration on how to operate the PD-100 Black Hornet system aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., June 23, 2016. The system is still in development, but it is designed for reconnaissance operations and will allow the Marines to enhance combat awareness. The system will be tested during exercise Rim of the Pacific with partner nations. The Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory is conducting a Marine Air-Ground Task Force Integrated Experiment to explore new gear and access its capabilities for potential future use.
