Brig. Gen. Jeff Mathis, deputy commander of 1st Corps, awards the Meritouiros Unit Commendation to the 42nd MP Bde, by affixing a streamer to the unit's colors with the assistance of the brigade?s Commander Col. David P. Glaser, during a ceremony at Soldier's Field House, located on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, March 19. The award was in recognition for the unit's outstanding service while deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from March 2008 to June 2009.
