During a meeting between the 1st Armored Division Band and the Iraqi prime minister's ceremonial band, Chief Warrant Officer 2 James Bettencourt got a chance to take over as maestro for the joint musical group. Bettencourt, the commander of the 1st Armd. Div. Band, said he is impressed with the improvements in the newly formed Iraqi band, and is working on more music for the two groups to play together at some point in the future.
