Staff Sgt. Sterling McClendon, bio-environmental engineering journeyman with the 380th Expeditionary Medical Group bio-environmental engineering section, participates in a co-agency training exercise with the 380th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron emergency management flight, April 9, at a non-disclosed base in Southwest Asia. The exercise helped maintain readiness and cooperation between agencies for events such as a hazardous material response. McClendon is deployed from the 81st Medical Group at Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., and his hometown is El Paso, Texas.
