Seaman Jean Petitfrere, boatswain's mate, from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, assigned to the Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall, plays soccer with children during a community outreach project at Pikine17A and HLM Pekine grade school. Gunston Hall is on a scheduled deployment in West Africa supporting Africa Partnership Station West, an international initiative developed by Naval Forces Europe and Naval Forces Africa that aims to improve maritime safety and security on the continent of Africa.
