Vice Adm. Charles W. Ray, commander, Coast Guard Pacific Area, presents Rear Adm. Richard T. Gromlich with the Coast Guard Distinguished Service Medal at a change-of-command ceremony at Coast Guard Base Seattle June 17, 2016.

Following the change-of-command ceremony, Gromlich retired with 33 years of service.
